When Covid struck, this Nordic Surrey Hills family approached us to create a luxury swimming pool along with a wellness space for the family to enjoy.

We designed a contemporary minimal building, hidden within the landscape of the garden.  A luxury subterranean 15m lap pool exudes the feeling of being carved out of the landscape using reclaimed local stone to help bring the outside in. A sustainable sedum roof helps the building blend seamlessly into the garden space.

A lavish gym space wrapped in timber cladding opens out to a view across the pool and into the spa garden creating a Zen space to workout. A panel cut into the timber wall reveals the atmospheric lit rustic stone wall and a custom laser engraved panel and bespoke bronze leaf artwork completes this luxury wellness space.

The spa garden with a living green wall, wood fired sauna, cold experience shower and cosy firepit is a great place for the family to spend some quality time and reap the benefits of hot/cold therapy after a swim or gym session.

A high security hidden garage, housing their collection of prestigious cars seamlessly fuses into the landscape that surrounds.
